Online Classes

We believe that constant practice breeds confidence and expertise, which result in greater success in the audition room, on stage, and on set. Therefore, our classes are offered on a constant, year-long schedule. Once an actor is enrolled they may renew their spot as long as they wish. Cycles are four weeks long and limited to 8 actors. All of our teachers have prescriptive methods to get to the heart of what each actor needs to tackle practical challenges in their work, and to discover new techniques to grow in their craft.

The Artist's Breath
with Nicolas Van Burek

About the Class

In this class, actors will learn and use some of the basic movements of Yang Style Taijiquan (Tai Chi) and some Qigong (Chi Kung) forms, as well as the basics of breath and voice work. The goal is twofold: help empower performing artists and give them effective tools to cope with anxiety and stress and develop proper support mechanisms for their voices when used in conjunction with dynamic movement.
